Surgical Procedures

  • Fracture Repair – Most fractures tend to heal on their own with proper treatments. If the bone is displaced or the break is in a position that will not heal correctly, surgery is required to correctly fix the problem.
  • Arthroscopic Debridement – In the early onset of arthritis, arthroscopic debridement is a surgical procedure that can be helpful. It removes inflamed tissue or spurs that have formed on the joint.
  • Joint Fusion – Consists of removing the ends of the bones where they meet to form joints. The ends are joined together by either pins or screws. This will ultimately fuse the bones together.
  • Osteotomy – This process consists of cutting the bones and realign the joint.
